Every month I get a delivery from Short Par 4, and I have for several years now. SP4 is a subscription service that delivers monthly boxes containing golf apparel and accessories. This month’s box arrived, and I figured I would review the contents.
This month’s box:
- Bobby Jones Fair Isle Cotton-Wool Quarter-Zip Sweater (Navy Blue)
MSRP – $195.00 - Callaway Golf Tour Authentic Performance Pro Hat
MSRP – $32.99 - Short Par 4 Players Glove
MSRP – $25.00
The sweater is not something I would have picked out on my own, but it’s very high quality and comfortable. The hat is very nice, seems to be moisture wicking which is good for me since I tend to sweat quite a bit on the golf course during warmer months. We will find out how well it holds up against sweat stains when that time rolls back around. I’ve used SP4 golf gloves before, and they are very soft and feel great. However, again inflicted with healthy sweat glands, I tend to run through them in relatively short order.
As always also included with the box is a SP4 poker chip style ball marker and other coupons and deals. After tax and shipping I paid $60 for this box, and ultimately received nearly $253 worth of quality products. This is one of the more significant boxes I’ve received recently. However, I almost always receive at least one piece of quality apparel worth at least $60 alone, along with other items. In the past I’ve received a mirror putting aid, tees, club brush, caddie towels, and I have more golf shorts than I know what to do with.
